Antonio Santangelo – Jury member & Workshop teacher

Antonio Santangelo is an internationally respected pastry chef and cake artist with a passion for refinement, craftsmanship, and the ultimate in taste. His style is characterized by elegant finishes, an eye for detail, and a perfect balance between classic techniques and modern creativity.

With years of experience in pastry and sugarcraft, Antonio has appeared on various international stages as a participant, demonstrator, and judge. He judges with a keen eye, but always with respect for the maker's creative process.

Over the years, he has studied with leading artists and won several silver and gold medals in the United Kingdom and Germany. He also gives demonstrations at fairs and events and regularly teaches in his studio in Brussels.

In 2023, he represented Belgium in the FIPGC Cake Designers World Championship, winning the bronze medal and a special prize for the most delicious cake. In 2024, he was a judge at the FIPGC Italian Championship and a judge at the 2025 FIPGC Cake Artist World Championship in Rome.

During the Crazy Cake Event, Antonio will be a judge and bring his expertise and enthusiasm to the competition floor. His feedback is clear, inspiring, and designed to elevate every participant.

In addition to his role as a judge, Antonio will also be giving an exclusive workshop at the Crazy Cake Event. In this workshop, he'll introduce you to his world of high-quality finishing and clever techniques that will instantly make your work look more professional. Expect practical tips, top-notch demonstrations, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
