Claudia Kapers

My name is Claudia Kapers and I work under the name Capri Cakes from Zelhem in the Netherlands.

My passion for designing and creating cakes and sculptures was born in 2013, and over time, I've developed my own skills in the sugar industry and acquired the necessary knowledge. Since 2019, I've been an official Saracino Ambassador for the Netherlands. Since 2024, I've been a Saracino representative and give demonstrations at various national and international trade fairs. I'm an officially recognized Cake International judge. I've also completed various judging assignments for England, Germany, Italy, Bulgaria, India, Sri Lanka, and the Netherlands.

I have won several prizes both nationally and internationally, including:

Gold, 1st in class and BEST OF SHOW at “Cake & Bake” Essen 2018, Gold and 2nd at “Cake & Trends” Utrecht 2018, Gold and 1st at “Cake & Bake Experience” Rijswijk 2019, Silver at “Cake & Bake” Essen 2019, Silver at “Cake International” Birmingham 2019 and Gold and BEST OF CLASS at “Cake & Bake” Dortmund 2023.

I have participated in several large collaborations and I create tutorials for various international magazines.
