Cake Designer and Sugar Artist

I am the owner of CBC Designs, LLC, located in Central Florida. With a background in graphic design and fine art, I entered the cake industry in 1993 and joined the International Cake Exploration Society in 1995.

As a professional cake designer, educator, and graphic designer, I founded CBC Designs, LLC to provide unique cake supplies. In 2017, I launched Lagniappe, a product line that utilizes the latest technology to design and produce custom molds, cutters, embossers, silicone mats, and stencils for the sugarcraft industry.

I collaborated with chef Nicholas Lodge to create products for the Nicholas Lodge Collection and with SugarinUK to create Lace Supreme and Designer Stencil Gel. I gave online demonstrations for Icing Images, Simi Isomalt, and the Nicholas Lodge Legacy Foundation. I also gave demonstrations at Cake International in Birmingham, England, for Katy Sue Designs, Simi Cakes Inc., Zoe's Fancy Cakes and Sacarcino, SugarinUK, and the Nicholas Lodge Legacy Foundation.

In 2023, I established the Nicholas Lodge Legacy Foundation, Inc. to promote the teaching of sugar art worldwide in honor of Chef Nicholas Lodge. I also collaborated with the Sugar Screams Team on installations at Cake International in 2022, 2023, and 2025.
